Brandon Kehler, known as @fidgetydigitsfb403, is a Canadian artist and fingerboard enthusiast who has built a vibrant career blending skate culture, custom artwork, and tattooing.
Brandon Kehler, known widely as @fidgetydigitsfb403, is a prominent figure in the Canadian fingerboarding scene and an artist based in Strathmore, Alberta. His journey into fingerboarding and art began at an early age, with skateboarding and creativity shaping his life’s passions. Having hosted Canada’s first officially sanctioned fingerboarding event by the USA Fingerboard League, Brandon has played a key role in building the community and nurturing new talent through his sponsorship team at FidgetyDigitsFB403.
Kehler’s love for skateboarding started at just four years old when he discovered his first setup at a garage sale. This interest grew, fueled by skate videos and early fingerboards, like his sister’s handmade Alien Workshop board crafted from paper. His fascination eventually led him to build an extensive collection of Tech Decks and custom fingerboard setups, filling his studio with memorabilia that spans over 25 years.
For Brandon, fingerboarding took on even greater significance when health issues forced him away from traditional skateboarding. He channeled his energy into creating custom obstacles, which he began selling online. Through the community, he forged friendships with other creators, including Kaden Overholt of Urmomsfavefingerboards and Josh Clark, a.k.a. @stovetop.fb. These connections inspired him to return to his artistic roots, creating unique graphics, including the now-iconic character EvilEdna.
Art has always been central to Brandon’s life. Originally working in traditional media, he later transitioned to digital art, designing pieces for brands like Urmomsfavefingerboards and Pipsqueak Wheels. Tattooing, however, became his newest passion. Inspired by years of artistry and a desire for personal expression, Brandon began tattooing as a therapeutic outlet. Through tattooing, he found new inspiration that has shaped his creative perspective and allowed him to make art in ways that align with his personal journey of managing chronic pain.
Among his favorite memories is seeing his artwork naturally appear on fingerboards across social media, a powerful validation of his dedication to his craft. Equally special was the moment his mother, a first-time tattoo client, asked him for her first piece—a reminder of how meaningful his art has become to others.
Moving forward, Brandon plans to continue working with fingerboard companies, organizing community events, and collaborating with USAFBL on future projects. He also has upcoming graphic releases for brands including Loosenut Fingerboards, Pipsqueak Wheels, and Madhouse Distribution, with plenty more unique creations on the horizon.
